The Linn 343 PWAB brings this reference-level performance to a flexible system configuration, combining an actively powered Pistonik bass system with passive upper-frequency reproduction driven by external amplification.
At the heart of the Linn 343 PWAB is a down-firing 220 mm Pistonik bass driver, powered by Linn’s Power DAC architecture and Utopik power supply. Together with the 190 mm Pistonik upper bass driver, it delivers bass with remarkable depth, texture and composure.
The Pistonik technology brings precision and control to the frequencies that give music its foundation, weight and presence, helping the loudspeaker maintain its composure across a wide range of musical performances.
A 19 mm thin-ply woven carbon dome tweeter and a 64 mm thin-ply woven carbon dome midrange driver complete the four-way floorstanding design.
The 343 PWAB combines active bass amplification with a three-way analogue passive crossover for the upper bass, midrange and tweeter. The bass system uses Linn’s Power DAC architecture, while the 343 Array is powered by separate amplification.
This configuration offers flexibility for systems built around external amplification, while retaining the advantages of Linn’s Pistonik bass technology.
With an Exaktbox and six amplifier channels, the loudspeaker can also be integrated into an Exakt system. Space Optimisation, used with a Linn DSM, helps tailor performance to the listening room.
