Three Dimensions of Sound
The Focal Theva N°3-D is the reference Dolby Atmos® floorstanding speaker in the Theva range, combining the scale and authority of a three way floorstander with a dedicated upward firing channel for immersive sound.
Designed to reflect Dolby Atmos sound from the ceiling, it brings a convincing sense of height and space to films, concerts and games, creating a more enveloping experience without the need for separate ceiling speakers.

The Theva N°3-D combines two 16.5 cm Slatefiber bass drivers, a dedicated 16.5 cm Slatefiber midrange and a 25 mm aluminium/magnesium TNF inverted dome tweeter. The result is a dynamic and balanced presentation with the scale required for a serious home cinema system.
The Slatefiber cone, made in France from recycled carbon fibres and thermoplastic polymer, is designed to combine rigidity, lightness and damping. It gives the Theva N°3-D its characteristic combination of rich midrange, controlled bass and dynamic expression.

The dedicated Dolby Atmos® top speaker reflects sound towards the ceiling, allowing height information to become part of the soundstage. Effects such as rain, aircraft, movement and atmospheric sound can therefore appear to come from above, adding another dimension to the cinematic experience.
