The Solo 500 features a distinctive discrete bipolar design, coupled with Linn's Dynamik switch mode power supply, which effortlessly delivers 500 W of instant power across the entire audible range.

You can use a pair of Solos for a passive stereo setup, and expand by adding more to multi-amp your speakers. Alternatively, you can upgrade to a fully Aktiv or Exakt system in combination with the Klimax Exaktbox.

 
 

  • The patented amplifier technology merges the speed and precision of monolithic chips with the durability and smoothness of bipolar transistors.

    Chakra dynamically adjusts by utilizing a monolithic chip at low currents and switching to bipolar transistors at higher currents. This unique method of transitioning between these technologies ensures precisely controlled, clean, and quiet power at all listening levels.

  • For decades, Linn developed there own switch-mode power supplies to provide stable, low-noise power in a compact and cool-running design. This electrical purity is essential for optimal amplifier performance.

    Dynamik offers excellent isolation from mains-borne noise, along with impressive power and responsiveness, significantly surpassing the performance of bulky and noisy traditional power supplies.

  • All Linn power amplifiers are engineered for efficiency, even when idle. Auto signal-sensing technology detects audio signals and reduces power consumption by switching to sleep mode when inactive.
