In this special edition of our popular ‘Vinyl Vibes Sunday’, we celebrate The Beatles in Mono — exploring the sound the Fab Four themselves intended the world to hear.

Discover The Beatles as They Meant to Be Heard

From their debut LP Please Please Me in 1963 to Yellow Submarine in 1969, every Beatles album had its own distinct mono and stereo mix. The Beatles were deeply involved in the mono versions, while the stereo mixes were often completed later by producer George Martin and studio engineers. As a result, the mono mixes reflect the band’s personal artistic vision — raw, powerful, and true to their intent.

During this captivating listening session, music expert Danny Tielemans will guide you through highlights from Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Rubber Soul, Revolver, The White Album, and more — all played in glorious mono. You’ll also hear some iconic singles that defined an era.

All recordings come from the rare 2014 release ‘The Beatles in Mono’ box set, cut directly from the original master tapes and produced through a fully analog process. Played on Authentic’s Linn turntables, these sessions promise an unforgettable analog listening experience that reveals The Beatles as you’ve never heard them before.
